Για δεύτερη συνεχή χρονιά, οι Financial Times σε συνεργασία με την εταιρεία δεδομένων Statista δημοσιεύουν τη λίστα με τους καλύτερους εργοδότες στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο.
Η κατάταξη προέκυψε μετά από ανεξάρτητη έρευνα σε δείγμα περίπου 20.000 εργαζομένων, οι οποίοι αξιολόγησαν τις εταιρείες τους με βάση τις συνθήκες εργασίας, τις αποδοχές, τις προοπτικές εξέλιξης και τη συνολική εταιρική εικόνα.
Στην κορυφή των κλάδων με τη μεγαλύτερη εκπροσώπηση βρέθηκε ξανά ο τομέας της υγείας. Ακολουθούν κατά πόδας η εκπαίδευση, ο κλάδος της πληροφορικής και του διαδικτύου, καθώς και το λιανικό και χονδρικό εμπόριο.
Σε γεωγραφικό επίπεδο, το Λονδίνο παραμένει ο αδιαμφισβήτητος ηγέτης, καθώς αποτελεί την έδρα για σχεδόν 200 από τις εταιρείες που διακρίθηκαν φέτος. Οι επιχειρήσεις της βρετανικής πρωτεύουσας καλύπτουν ένα ευρύ φάσμα δραστηριοτήτων, με ιδιαίτερη συγκέντρωση στον τραπεζικό και χρηματοοικονομικό τομέα.
Σημαντική παρουσία στη λίστα έχουν επίσης οι εξής πόλεις: Ρέντινγκ, Μάντσεστερ, Λιντς, Εδιμβούργο, Μπρίστολ.
